FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How long is each session?
Each Rapid Transformational Therapy session lasts between 90 minutes to 2 hours. For that reason, we ask you block off 2 hours on your calendar to make sure we do not feel rushed.
Can I get "stuck" in Hypnosis?
No! That's an old wive's tale. You have complete control the whole time. You can talk, move your body, get a tissue, even get up and leave. If our call gets disconnected, you may drift into sleep if you're really relaxed, but eventually you'll notice that you're not hearing my voice and open your eyes.
What does hypnotherapy feel like?
Firstly, let me reassure you and say that hypnosis is a natural state, just like daydreaming, and is very similar to meditation. If you've ever drifted off for a moment during a conversation, or while you've been driving suddenly, you're not sure where you are, then you've been in a state of "trance". It's a very related state of being. The experience feels different for different people. Some people feel a floating sensation, while others may feel sleepy. Most people feel relaxed and at ease. What's most important is to know how you feel isn't an indicator of how effective it is. Regardless of what it feels like - it's working.
How does RTT work?
The subconscious mind holds all of your memories, and the answers to how, why, when, where you started a belief or behavior. Once you have this understanding, the mind can be redirected, and brand-new, empowering beliefs can take their place. The results can be rapid and more successful because the mind is more suggestible in hypnosis.
What if I don't go deep enough?
Don't worry about how deep you go, I want you to forget all about that, since it's not important. The depth of trance is not linked to results at all. So don't get stuck on "Am I deep enough?" Just tell yourself the truth - "This is working" and it will work. Just know that it is effective.
What if I go back to a memory that is painful or scary?
If you go back to scenes from your life that are related to things like sexual or physical abuse, or other trauma, it's important to remember that you are not reliving that scene, you are simply review it and that you are safe. I will support you and create a safe space for you to express your emotions and heal - you'll be OK.
When will I start to see a change?
There are three (3) types of change from Rapid Transformational Therapy, immediate, incremental, and retroactive - every person is different:
I. Immediate: You feel a massive shift right away - immediate changes in your physiology, thoughts, and behaviors right in the session.
II. Incremental: You see consistent shifts daily or over time.
III. retroactive: You don't see the shifts right away, but then one day, suddenly you look back and see all the different things in your life.
What if I need another session?
RTT design is to help create breakthroughs and changes in your life. Depending on a particular issue, more than one RTT session may be needed depending on how deep-rooted that issue is. Sometimes a course of 3 sessions is recommended based on the individual. More often, clients want to have other sessions to work on different areas of their life and receive coaching to integrate the new beliefs and build new habits and behaviors.
